Forgeboard · Last updated 23 September 2026

Forgeboard is a private project-management tool used by the Jump Showdown development team. It is not a public service and cannot be signed up for. This page explains exactly what happens to your information when you sign in with Roblox.

What we receive from Roblox

When you authorise Forgeboard, Roblox tells us only what the openid and profile scopes cover:

Group role

For linked accounts, Forgeboard reads your role in the studio's Roblox community, Jimpee's Cabin, when you sign in and every 30 minutes after that. If your role there matches a role in Forgeboard — for example, "scripters" — you are given that role here. Roles are only ever added this way; nothing is removed automatically.

This uses no additional permission from you. Community membership and role are public on Roblox, and we read them from Roblox's public group information using your user ID. Forgeboard cannot change your role, add or remove you from any community, or look at any community other than this one.

What we store

We keep your user ID, username, display name and avatar address, plus your role in Jimpee's Cabin (its name, ID and rank) and when it was last checked. The user ID is how the system recognises you on your next visit; the rest is so your teammates see a name and a face rather than a number. Nothing else from Roblox is stored.

What we never receive or ask for

Why we use it

Only to confirm that you are one of the people authorised to use Forgeboard, to give you the Forgeboard roles that match your community role, and to label your work inside it — who a task belongs to, who changed a status, who left a comment. It is used for nothing else.

The built-in assistant

Forgeboard includes an assistant that answers questions about the project and can make changes on request. When you use it, the relevant project information — tasks, statuses and the display names attached to them — is sent to Anthropic's API to produce a reply. Your Roblox user ID is never included. The provider does not use this content to train models, and neither do we: no information obtained from Roblox is ever used to train AI or language models. If you'd rather nothing of yours went through it, tell us and we will exclude you.

Who else sees it

Nobody. Your information is not sold, rented, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. There is no advertising, no tracking and no third-party analytics anywhere in Forgeboard. The only people who can see your name inside the tool are the other authorised members of the development team.

Where it is kept

On a private computer operated by the studio, not on a third-party cloud platform. Access requires a signed-in, authorised account.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account. When your account is removed, the stored profile information goes with it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Withdrawing your permission

You can revoke Forgeboard's access from your Roblox account settings at any time, under the authorised applications section. You can also ask us to unlink and delete your account, and we will do it. Either one immediately ends your ability to sign in.

If our Roblox access ends

If Forgeboard's access to Roblox's APIs is withdrawn or ends for any reason, everything we obtained through them is deleted. We do not sell information obtained from Roblox, share it with third parties, or combine it with information from anywhere else to profile anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date.
